Binoculars will come in handy here, for spotting red kites; keep them to hand when you head coastwards too, as Cardigan Bay is a popular playground for dolphins and other marine beasts.

Once back at your Bethania base, there are some spectacular views to admire as you prep supper either in your kitchen or on a barbecue (supplies for such things can be sourced 20 minutes’ drive away in Tregaron). A pub and family-friendly restaurant are a few minutes’ drive away if you're of the opinion that hols means a break from making your own meals.
